Nuclear Materials and Fuel Cycle Center (NMFC) Postdoctoral Opening

NMFC lab focuses on various work related to energy sectors, particularly nuclear reactor applications. Postdoctoral researchers will be allowed to work on a wide variety of research projects related to the nuclear fuel cycle, coolants, fuel materials, and material compatibility. Responsibilities include conducting research, mentor for graduate and undergraduate students, and collaborating with sponsors. Required Qualifications

* Ph.D. in science, engineering, or any equivalent. PhD must be awarded no more than three years prior to the effective date of appointment with a minimum of two years eligibility remaining.
* A developing publication record.
* Good communication skills.
* Some background knowledge of nuclear engineering and material corrosion.
