Principal Duties and Responsibilities: |
* Signs out floor key and reports to assigned section. * Cleans guest rooms following housekeeping procedures. * Reports any discrepancies in room status to Supervisor. * Reports repairs needed in work area to Supervisor. * Ensures guest security by locking all doors and keeping keys secured. * Signs in key and turns in reports to Supervisor at end of shift * Perform all necessary cleaning activities such as dusting, sweeping, trash removal, mopping, and polishing * Adhere to procedures and ensure all rooms inspected according to department standards * Exercise tact and discretion when dealing with guests, and guests' property * Report any damages, shortcomings, and disturbances to supervisors * Check and maintain stock levels * Comply with all rules regarding health and safety of guests and coworkers
Must be able to make decisions and work well with others. Other duties as assigned.
