Pinyon Environmental, Inc. is well-regarded in the industry, particularly in the Denver metro area and Arizona. Currently, we're looking for a motivated Leader to join us and help expand our presence in Arizona. This role involves collaborating with our marketing team to strategically grow our business, foster new client relationships, and nurture existing ones.

The right person for this role will have a background in areas like engineering, geology, biology, environmental planning, or cultural resources. They'll be responsible for managing projects within their expertise, conducting technical reviews, handling client relationships, and contributing to business development efforts such as proposals and fee structures.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in an environmental discipline (e.g., environmental science, geology, biology, environmental planning, environmental engineering, etc.).
  • 8-10 years of consulting experience.
  • A proven seller/doer and demonstrate the ability to develop a strategic plan with clearly defined goals and metrics, and ability to follow through.
  • Ability to develop and foster relationships, including internally at Pinyon, and externally with clients, partners, and the community.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Ability and aptitude to identify problems and translate those problems into opportunities. 
  • Ability to work and excel in a team setting, but also work independently.
  • Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written) are required.
  • Effective in high pressure-situations and managing various tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving is essential.
  • Strong organizational, technical writing, and effective communication skills are required.
