We are hiring a Shipping/Receiving Material Handler, to assist with transporting product, materials, and shipments throughout our facilities. Our ideal candidate possesses a CDL with a HAZ-MAT endorsement, or is willing to participate in company sponsored training in order to obtain one.

JOB DUTIES
include, but not limited to:
  1. Assist in maintenance of all inventory stored at PbG’s facility, including incoming shipments, outgoing shipments, and daily movement transactions.
  2. Perform cycle and physical inventories of all storage areas.
  3. Assist with receiving and verifying incoming material.
  4. Ensure all incoming material is transferred to the appropriate storage locations.
  5. Unload container shipments, verify and ensure proper storage. 
  6. Perform inter-facility movements daily to support production lines.
  7. Ensure all requests from the production line or supporting departments for movement of product is completed on the appropriate required documents and free of errors prior to performing transaction.
  8. Distribute all materials to the production areas upon request in a timely manner to ensure production flow is not interrupted.
  9. Ensures all labeling and shipping preparation is performed per loading procedures.
  10. Pull and prepare equipment from stock, load equipment trucks and transfer incoming equipment to the appropriate trucks for shipment, by referring to packing lists.
  11. Perform inventories of equipment and update inventory records when equipment is shipped or received.
  12. Keeps all Inert storage areas and Explosive Storage Magazines organized and storage of product in the most efficient manner for removal of product, this includes consolidating product and transferring items as needed.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
include, but not limited to:
  1. Be able to read, speak, and understand English.
  2. Must possess High School diploma or equivalent.
  3. Must provide copy of current DMV clean driving record upon acceptance of position and periodically as required by department.
  4. Must possess CDL, Class B with Haz Mat endorsement or obtain within the company within 6 months of hire date.
  5. Must complete Forklift Training and receive certification within 6 months of hire date.
  6. Willing to train as a backup for multi-day truck runs, if needed.
  7. Be able and willing to provide own transportation to storage areas including New River Dublin Facility when needed (mileage reimbursement is provided).
  8. Possess basic math skills. 
  9. Prior experience in warehousing / inventory is preferred.
  10. Able to work all overtime as required.
  11. Willing and able to work alternate schedules as required by Supervisor for Department needs.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  1. Must be able to lift 45 - 65 lbs. on an occasional basis without assistance.
  2. Must be able to lift in excess of 65 lbs. on an occasional basis with assistance (using pallet jacks and hand trucks).
  3. Must be able to sit, stand, bend or move throughout the course of the workday.
