We have a great opportunity for an Information Security Manager to support our government customer based in Springfield, VA. This position is required to be onsite.
The Information Security Manager is responsible for implementing policies and procedures to manage the collateral, SCI, and SAP security information in accordance with Executive Orders, DoD, and DoN policies.
The Information Security Manager will also serve as the technical specialist in the following areas of policy:
- Classified Information
- Dissemination of current policies, security classification guides (SCGs), and Program Protection Plans (PPPs).
The Information Security Manager will use Security Information Management Systems (SIMS) Software to manage classified information on behalf of the Program. The Information Security Manager will be responsible for content management on the Security Directorate's SharePoint site and intranet sites.
- Shall have 7 or more years of security analyst experience.
- Shall have 7 or more years of experience using Microsoft Office application suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project).
- Experience using SIMS modules and capabilities (i.e. triggers, scripts, reports) are preferred.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SPFC).
- Strongly desire experience managing content on Microsoft SharePoint.
- This position will require U.S. Citizenship and an active DoD TS/SCI clearance. This position will require the ability to obtain and pass a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.
