POSITION SUMMARY

Field support requests from Parking Operations, help deploy technology projects, and minimize equipment downtime.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
    Travel to sites and effectively triage, repair, or escalate the critical parking equipment components.
  • Assist PSC Operators with field-related maintenance or repairs.
  • Maintain service and repair logs and report issues to appropriate parties within the Parking Operations Team.
  • Review all systems and ensure smooth site operations.
  • Help report cash input and analysis of financial and occupancy reports.
  • Inspect, assess, and help maintain garage condition protocols.
  • Ensure that parking and parking areas are properly branded.
  • Perform and track garage inspections in workorder software.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.
  • Work with JBG SMITH employee-related apps, Skidata, IntegraPark, and TIBA.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED (REQUIREMENTS)
  • High School Diploma or GED and one year of electromechanical, MEP construction, or parking equipment-related experience.
  • Strong understanding of the paramount importance of customer experience and committed to creating a continually improving customer experience culture within the Parking & Mobility group.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to articulate and guide customers through payment, signup, and other concerns.
  • Comfortable interacting and communicating with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Team player and the ability work independently.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and network trades.
  • Ability to work with basic hand tools while taking appropriate safety measures.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask competing demands.
  • Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Outlook, Excel, Word, and ability to learn JBG SMITH employee-related apps, Skidata, IntegraPark, and TIBA.

Ability to regularly perform the following:

  • Move freely throughout the property including moving up and down stairs.
