Program Manager
This Position is Contingent upon Contract Award
Purpose:
  • Valkyrie Enterprises has an immediate need for a Program Manager who will provide key support to the Executive Office (including special project support services).
Job Description:
  • Provide direct management, supervision, and oversight of all major functions, disciplines, or segments of the program that provides support services to the Executive Office Engineering Department, Maintenance and Availability Planning Department, Mission and Administrative Department, and Detachment Department.
  • Responsible for management of all program aspects; including personnel, cost, schedule, long range strategic planning, near term requirements planning, incorporation of program efficiencies and lessons learned.
  • Responsible for customer interface management, and total quality oversight for all products and program deliverables.
  • This position includes the full range of responsibility for all aspects of program performance.
Qualifications:
  • Must have a BA Degree in Engineering, Business, Science or Arts degree or related field or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education.
  • Must have at least 3 years relevant experience managing projects or programs.
  • Must have experience managing depot level U.S Navy surface ship maintenance planning functions and/or operations or maintenance planning and execution.
  • Must have proficiency in multiple trade skills.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Prefer at least 15 years' experience or more managing depot level U.S. Navy surface ship maintenance planning functions.
  • Prefer at least 20 years progressive direct experience related to U.S Navy surface ship operations or maintenance planning and execution.
  • Prefer experience in a management or supervisory roles at a Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Repair, and Conversion command, Regional Maintenance Center, U.S. Navy Central Planning Activity, U.S. Navy Planning Yard Activity, or a Planning for Engineering and Repair Activity.
Security Requirements:
  • Must have an Active DoD Secret Clearance and the ability to maintain a clearance.
Travel Requirements:
  • Occasional Travel- Less than 20%
  • If position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID. Physical Requirements:
  • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.
  • Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
  • Communicating with others to exchange information.
  • Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
  • Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds.

Pay Range: $150,000 - $160,000 per year
