Role: Senior Project Management- Consultant (Financial Services | Collections and Recovery| Software Implementations)

The Opportunity

"As a Sr Project Management Consultant within FICO's Professional Services Division, you will provide client services to manage the execution and delivery of FICO's enterprise-class solutions. Your mission will be to provide value to our clients by delivering solutions and services, enabling, creating, building and strengthening customer relationships. We help our clients improve customer loyalty, market share, and manage fraud risk in a dynamic changing marketplace by leveraging FICO world-class analytics, scores, tools and innovative applications. You will lead and manage all activities pertaining to the system implementation, while serving as the primary point of contact to the client and FICO leadership. Ideal candidate will have prior experience with system implementations in support of financial services industry clients, preferably within Debt Management/Collections, Credit Decisioning, Fraud Detection or Loan Originations." - Senior Director, Project Management

What You'll Contribute

  • Lead Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) system implementation projects, including accountability across all project phases (initiation through roll-out) for delivery execution, schedule & budget management, as well as solving problems to ensure successful system delivery.
  • Monitor execution and provide executive updates to external clients as well as FICO's management team (to help provide stakeholder visibility into all aspects of project execution).
  • Strong financial oversight, to include managing project schedule, budget and change orders. Reconcile forecast to budget.
  • Monitor and Control Project performance; Ensure industry-standard project controls and Change Management/Change Control activities are performed.

What We're Seeking

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field and or equivalent experience.
  • Experienced in leading projects within the financial services industry.
  • External client facing project management experience within Professional or Managed Services capacity.
  • Experience delivering large, complex software solutions from inception to delivery.
  • Experience implementing systems that support debt collection and recovery activity (e.g. unpaid loans, unpaid credit cards, auto repossession etc.) is strongly preferred.
  • PMP Certification.
  • Significant experience with software development and implementation methodologies.
  • Experience leading Agile and SaaS project implementations.
  • Self-starter with high sense of urgency and timely issue resolution for ensuring delivery success.
