Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Vice President of Defense & Intelligence. If you want to join a company that values passionate leadership and are open to commuting to Reston, VA we want you to work for our Company!
 
Our company is ready to position itself for renewed growth while staying lean and mean. As the SVP, it’s your job to make that happen. Our SVP is expected to improve the company’s Defense and Intel profitability, service delivery capacity, business development strategy, and transition from small business to compete in the full and open market.  You will also be responsible for increasing business development by tapping emerging trends and business verticals. All while staying current on business issues ranging from operations risk, federal acquisition regulation, and fiscal sustainability.

·       You have 10 or more years of experience in Project or Program Management.
·       You have a background in information technology, specifically with hands on engineering experience in systems, software or networking.
·       You have a Bachelor’s Degree or higher, PMP certification and an Active Top Secret clearance
 
What your day will look like:
  • Strategy
    • Facilitate and enhance the Company’s strategic priorities, objectives, metrics, milestones and initiatives to compete in the full and open space; and
    • Lead the Defense and Intel Unit, Program Managers and Project Managers in developing cascading strategies that align to the corporate strategy.
  • Business Development
    • Ability to lead and capture new customers across DoD and Intel with an emphasis on the Navy and U.S. Marine Corps, COCOMs, CYBERCOM, Defense Information Systems Agency, NSA and other branches of the military.
  • Capture
    • Successful capture of new opportunities aligned to customers and contracts, as defined within our Company's corporate strategic plan to compete in the full and open market.
  • Delivery
o   Improving business unit portfolios and profitability, by conducting consistent monthly and quarterly program reviews and complete improvements that lead to profitability
o   Improve the overall delivery performance
 
The Admin Stuff:
