Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Research Data Associate-ECHO.



In this role, the successful candidate will support research into the effects of early-life environmental exposures on children's health. Under the new NIH-funded national study, Environmental Influences on Child Health Outcomes (ECHO), we are following infants, young children, and their mothers to determine associations between environmental factors and conditions such as obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Explain and complete with prospective study participants study consent forms
    Collect information from the research participants as outlined in the study protocol
  • Conduct detailed research questionnaires with mothers, in person and by phone
    Ensure follow up visits of participate completed in line with the study timeline/milestones
  • Enter all collected data in accordance with the institutional and study guidelines
  • Assist with study data analysis and record-keeping
    Abstract data for further analysis by the research team
  • Perform bone density testing when required

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelors degree preferred
New York State license to practice as a diagnostic radiologic technologist.
Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Desire to work with mothers and young children.

Preferred Qualifications:
Spanish fluency desired

Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
