Debra Chomicka has been a career counselor and member of the Alverno College faculty since 1986. In addition to counseling and teaching courses for both undergraduate and graduate students, she has presented workshops on career planning, employee motivation, leadership and professional development issues for local and national businesses, as well as professional and academic audiences. Her area of expertise is in assisting people to identify their career-related achievements and develop effective presentation of these successes to potential employers. At Alverno, Chomicka has served the Career Education Center as Career Programs Manager, Assistant Director, and Director, and in 2010 became Adjunct Faculty for Career Education and the Senior Career Specialist.
