Systems Planning and Analysis (SPA) has an immediate need for a Costpoint Financial Analyst (Project Set-Up) to become a part of our growing financial team. 

Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Contract Set-Up and Revenue Manager, the Project Set-Up Analyst is responsible for the set-up and maintenance of SPA contracts in our Costpoint accounting system. The candidate will ensure the repository of contract set-up and modification documentation is up-to-date and they will also initiate the contract kick-off briefing meetings. In addition, the Project Set-Up Analyst will read contract documents and ensure the accurate initial set-up in Costpoint for program/billing execution optimization and implement new and update existing contract setups/modifications within the Projects Module to include employee workforce mappings. The Project Set-Up Analyst will support multiple program tasks simultaneously while prioritizing effort along strict time-lines to ensure service levels are met and adhere to and improve established contract set-up guidelines and checklists. In addition, they will review other team members set-ups in Costpoint for accuracy and work closely with Contract Administrators, Financial team and Program Managers to solve set-up problems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Accounting, Business Administration or related field preferred).
  • Understanding of US Government contract terms and conditions as outlined under FAR, CAS, GAAP, and 2 CFR 200 regulations preferred.
  • Costpoint experience preferred.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Previous program coordination or contracts experience preferred.
