LMI is seeking a Junior Data Engineer to provide support to our VHA customer in activities related to Healthcare Architecture Modernization.

Responsibilities
Serve as a Business Analyst supporting the Integration and Reference (IR) team
Assist business architects in taskings and analysis work, including identification and analysis of reference architecture and integration support
Assist business architects in defining the data shared across the enterprise and the relationships between those data
Perform analysis and mappings of internal and external concepts to architecture products
Assist business architects in developing logical or conceptual models to depict relationships of internal and external concepts to architecture products
Assist with maintenance of products, reports, and reference materials under the direction of business architects
Work with team members to propose solutions that solve/alleviate client problems
Provide regular status reporting and quarterly status briefs on ongoing team work efforts
Assist with support to IT governance activities regarding capital allocations to programs
Participate in team meetings and assist with development of meeting materials and minutes, as needed
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelors Degree in Business, Computer Science, Health Informatics or related field
1-3 years relevant experience performing business analysis, process/information modeling, or requirements capture
Collects, organizes, models, and analyzes healthcare related data using analytical and/or statistical tools
Applies fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments
Provides correct and appropriate interpretation of data, applying knowledge to evaluation, analysis, and interpretation of data
Develops useful methodologies for analyzing and presenting data analysis products using statistics, graphs, images and lists that communicate results to leadership
Assists other functional area analysts as needed with data analysis and generation of SQL to be used in that analysis
Familiarity with business architecture concepts or principles
Experience performing "mapping" or "traceability" among architectural constructs (e.g., processes, information/data, capabilities, systems, etc.)
Demonstrated ability to learn new technical and analytical skills
Direct customer engagement experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Eligibility to obtain a VA clearance, to which you must be a US Citizen.
Desired:
Familiarity with enterprise architecture tools such as Microsoft Visio or equivalent a plus
Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture Frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, DoDAF, FEAF, Zachman) a plus
Experience working on government contracts/projects (specifically with VA or DoD) a plus
Experience in Healthcare Data Analytics
