At Aurora Flight Sciences, we design, build, and fly advanced aircraft and enabling technologies from concept to reality. We are searching for a talented and self-motivated Supplier Program Manager to help us create the future of flight. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
-Manages technical, business, product delivery, quality and in-service aspects of supplier/subcontractor relationships and performance.
-Establishes operating plan to monitor performance to plan. Assists in managing all aspects of supplier, SOW, RAA, contractual commitments and performance to support company procurement strategies and contractual compliance and establishes operating plan.
-Provides technical and business guidance to integrate strategic supply chain activities. Leads stakeholder relationships and performance throughout all contract phases.
-Conducts and guides supplier assessments.
-Develops current and projected work statement.
-Leads and establishes the basis for recovery, corrective and preventative action plans.
-Communicates supplier and SCM performance plans RIOs to stakeholders.
-Bachelor's degree or higher
-9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.)
-5 years experience in Supply Chain role
-Technical or engineering degree
-Aerospace experience
-Manufacturing experience in machining/metal work or tooling
-Supplier quality/performance experience
-Must be able to travel
