- Prepare, develop, coordinate, integrate, analyze, and maintain, integrated plans and schedules for proposals, projects, programs and major initiatives to meet program and/or project objectives.
- Track, plan, schedule and perform risk analysis for projects, programs and change activities throughout the lifecycle of a program.
- Support development of the Integrated Master Plan (IMP) if applicable, Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and supporting elements, conduct comprehensive SRA, and drive program planning through the gated process in support of program requirements and objectives.
- Develop and support integration of program plans and schedules, horizontally and vertically, across company functional, product groups, suppliers, and partners.
- Coordinate and interface with other functions, such as finance, subcontracts, material controls and contracts.
Proposal Support – Work closely with program manager, capture lead and technical leads to:
- Reconcile detailed basis of estimates (BOEs) into the lowest level tasks in the IMS.
- Work with Supply Chain and Contracts to collect supplier quotes and subcontract proposals and incorporate into the IMS.
- Create a fully networked Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in Microsoft Project.
- Load Resources onto Tasks and Activity custom fields into the IMS.
- Ensure IMS adheres to industry standards, as required (ie: EVMS DFAR, DCMA 14-point, DECM).
- Perform Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA), if required.
Project Planning – Work closely with program managers and technical leads to:
- Update proposal schedule to ensure contract compliance.
- Support Program Management Plan (PMP) generation.
- Plan the execution of setting the baseline IMS with the program team.
- Support the finance team with inputs for project costs.
- Perform Critical/Driving Path analysis.
- Assist program manager with regular planning cycles.
Progress/Performance Tracking:
- Facilitate project status updates with the support of the Program Office (at least monthly) using earned value principles.
- Meet regularly with technical leads and project managers to review project deadlines and activities; ensure Estimate to
- Complete (ETC) budgets, forecasts, and durations are properly reflected in the project schedule.
- Analyze schedule performance and review schedule variances.
- Perform schedule related risk and opportunity analysis and provide potential solutions to management.
- Perform what-if analysis to assess schedule impact and support recovery planning with program management.
- Perform and document schedule, event and change impact analysis.
- Maintain a disciplined revision control of all planning/schedule baselines.
Report Generation:
- Support the generation of internal and external reports (ie. Variance Reports)
- Extract various graphics from enterprise tools to support management reviews.
- Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
- Experience with Development and/or Manufacturing contracts in the Aerospace Industry or related field.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project.
- Experience in applying and interpreting integrated cost/schedule and critical path methodologies.
- Demonstrated understanding of Earned Value (EV) management principles and the application to complex projects.
- Must be a U.S. Person.
- Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).
- Familiarity with Agile processes desired.
- Familiarity with Manufacturing and Production System Scheduling Integration into the IMS.
- Must be able to support occasional travel
