Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred, however, experience may be substituted for education.
- Seven (7) to ten (10) years of experience in outside sales.
- Prior experience in selling to the Federal, State, and/or Local governments is highly desirable.
- Recent experience selling technology services and solutions to customers is required.
- Successful track-record of quota attainment/overachievement required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate with both internal and external customers and vendors.
- Knowledge of and utilization of SalesForce.com is a plus
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Should be focused, driven, and motivated to increase business for the company.
- Must be available to work non-standard hours during peak season times.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- Technical certifications are a plus.
Travel Requirements:
Travel to customer sites may be necessary.
