Job Description
Are you looking for a teaching job in a high quality early childhood program? Milestones, a non-profit child care and education program, is hiring full-time Head Teachers for its infant/toddler classrooms. We offer excellent teacher:child ratios and group sizes as well as competitive salaries and benefits in a professionally supportive work environment.
Milestones has been in operation on Milwaukee's North Shore since 1979. We serve children from 2 months through 5th grade. Our clients are working parents who are in need of child care that is of high quality, developmentally based, and in tune with the philosophy that play and learning go hand in hand. We are looking for caring, enthusiastic, and professional adults who are committed to high quality programming for young children.
Our Head Teachers must have a Bachelors or Associate degree in Education or a related field. Prior experience working with young children is helpful. We are currently interviewing candidates interested in working at our Shorewood and Whitefish Bay locations. These are full time positions, and benefits include partially paid health insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, paid personal and vacation time, and ten paid holidays.
Your interview with Milestones will include a classroom visit so that you can meet your potential co-workers and observe our classroom environments. Milestones is licensed by the State of Wisconsin and voluntarily participates in the Youngstar Quality Rating program.

Head Teachers must have Bachelors or Associate degree in Education or a related field. Prior experience working with young children is helpful. Assistant Teachers must meet State of Wisconsin minimums or we will help you achieve those certifications.
