Key Role:
Provide financial, economic, or cost analysis services to an Army client and program or project managers. Analyze and maintain cost documents, including program office estimates (POEs), life cycle cost estimates (LCCEs), cost analysis requirements descriptions (CARDs), independent cost estimates (ICEs), component cost analyses (CCAs), business case analyses (BCAs), and cost benefit analyses (CBAs). Perform scenario and affordability analysis, including excursions and sensitivity analysis using historical performance measures, cost models, and program metrics and develop logistics cost analyses using the CASA model. Work closely with program and acquisition managers when analyzing the development of acquisition strategies, analyses, plans, and documents. Provide cost analysis services for program business management services. Conduct internal cost and budgeting analyses and independent government cost estimates for contracting actions. Audit vendor pricing, billing, costing, and scheduling projections and work breakdown structures and provide information updates or presentations to various executive offices within and outside of the program.
Basic Qualifications:
-Experience as a cost analyst, including supporting Army or other DoD acquisition programs
-Experience with using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel
-Knowledge of cost estimating tools for supporting DoD acquisition programs
-Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications:
-BA or BS degree in Economics, Accounting, Statistics, Operations Research, or a business-related field
-Professional Cost Estimator/Analyst (PCEA) Certification
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
