We are seeking a talented Fire Alarm Technician who install, maintain and troubleshoot all aspects of fire alarm systems in tenant suites, single story flex space systems, and large retail and office buildings for commercial and government buildings. Fire Alarm Technicians must able to identify major alarm issues that require either programming or proprietary assistance for closure. Layout experience is a plus. NICET I or NICET II and/or UL listed technicians please apply.

Required Skills
  • NICET I or II or UL Listed Technicians
  • Journeyman Electrician license is a plus
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in all phases of fire systems work, including rough wiring, wiring of devices and panels, and layout and installation of alarm devices and other systems components
  • Knowledge of Simplex, Notifier, or Gamewell systems
  • Knowledge of electrical codes and standards
  • Knowledge of Hardwired systems, Class A and B
  • Fire Alarm panel diagnostics via laptop computer a plus
  • Ability to identify alarm issues
  • Ability to read design drawings and wiring diagrams, interpret 1-line diagram, multiplex schematics, and points list mapping documents

  • You must have a HS Diploma as minimum education
