| Specific Job Description | Candidate will provide administrative support to the VP, Civil and Homeland Security. Candidate must be a poised, well-spoken, discreet professional with ability and motivation to work in a challenging, fast-moving, deadline-driven environment. Candidate must be detail-oriented and demonstrate high quality performance standards and initiative. Candidate must also have excellent organizational and communication skills, including multi-tasking capabilities. Extensive experience and skills for performing standard secretarial/administrative responsibilities are required, including answering phones; maintaining calendars; arranging meetings; scheduling appointments; creating, editing, and processing presentation charts; setting up and maintaining alphabetical, numerical and/or subject files; typing; proofing; handling mail; photocopying; sending faxes; handling travel arrangements, to include complex international itineraries; processing expense reports and reimbursements; ordering supplies; processing check requests for payment; organizing and maintaining office files and library. Candidate must have the capability of interacting professionally with executive level corporate and high-level government personnel. Will be required to screen telephone calls, take detailed messages, and refer calls as appropriate in professional manner.
