Position Description


Procon Consulting LLC is seeking a Senior Construction Management Professional, responsible for the coordination of design and construction activities on a large Federal Construction Project in NW Washington DC. 


 


Candidates MUST meet the following criteria:   



  • Successfully achieve a Government Security Clearance (HSPD-12).


  • Experience on large construction projects in excess of $50 million.


  • Fifteen (15) plus years as Project Manager or Construction Manager.


  • BA/BS Degree in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management.  Post      graduate degree preferred.


  • CMAA certification is preferred.


  • LEED Certification is preferred.


  • Federal contracting and/or work on Government construction projects is a desired, but not required.



RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Responsible for the overall management, direction and coordination of all design and construction activities.  


  • Proactively support the Government Project Team while managing the project schedule, budget, scope, and quality. 


  • Ability to work as liaison to the Government representatives, field inspectors, Engineers, Architects, consultants, and other team members on multiple projects within a campus complex. 


  • Prepare accurate and cost­­-saving estimates as needed.


  • Prepare and maintain required reports and documentation.


  • Ensure job-site safety, quality control, and high level workmanship.
