What Will This Position Offer You?

Provide thought leadership and creative insights to clients on complex strategic communications initiatives, serve as the corporate liaison on strategic communications engagements, and lead communications and change teams in supporting clients' business strategies, including public affairs, policy support, agency integration and cross-agency coordination, business transformation, strategy alignment, or other initiatives.


Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for developing and pursuing opportunities by applying ManTech International corporation’s solutions and Intellectual Properties to solve unique customer problem sets. Provide leadership and direction to senior P/L center management in order to expand ManTech’s visibility and business base within the IC community and Centers, including counterintelligence, counter narcotics, weapons of mass destruction, and
weapons, intelligence, nonproliferation, and arms control, with the primary goal of fueling business growth for this customer. The candidate will be expected to interact in all facets of these programs and projects, providing counsel to program managers, Business Development Directors, and Capture Managers, as well as hands-on participation with leadership on proposals and direct tasking when necessary.

Candidate will interface directly with senior IC management and customers to ensure that current programs are positioned to meet or exceed customer expectations, and also to support our customers in developing and executing the strategic direction of their programs. Candidate will work closely with Business Development staff in developing strategic plans, IRAD development, and communication plans with all levels of customer community. Candidate will support major cross-company campaigns, and present and defend business strategies to ManTech senior leadership, including Presidents and CEO. Candidate will identify and make recommendations for growing ManTech business through strategic teaming, mergers, and acquisitions. Finally, the candidate will also ensure that ManTech goals and objectives are in line with the strategic objectives and mission goals of the IC customers.

Position Requirements:

Have at least 10 years experience managing teams, projects and programs

Have at least 12 years experience with the Intelligence Community or Special Programs.

Possess excellent oral and written communication skills

Understand business development and program capture concepts

Possess a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and ten years of related (technical and management consulting) experience. Graduate degree preferred.

Have experience in supporting and leading both technical and cost proposal activities

Possess strong skills in customer management

Be willing to commute to work at multiple locations including McLean, VA, Herndon, VA and Chantilly, VA
