Position Description

Administrative Assistant sought in Finance department of the National Association of Broadcasters, a trade association that advocates on behalf of more than 8,300 free, local radio and television stations and broadcast networks.

Will be responsible for providing overall administrative support to the Finance team. Some of the responsibilities include but are not limited to: answer phone lines, schedule meetings, prepare bank deposits, assists with Accounts Payable functions, maintain department files (on and off site locations), support Controller and others in maintenance and creation of spreadsheets and written correspondence. These are but a few of the challenging, yet rewarding responsibilities associated with this opportunity.

Successful candidates will possess two years experience in administrative support capacity and/or data entry. Related experience within an accounting or finance department preferred. Bachelors degree preferred. Strong computer skills, in particular Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Be detail orientated and a problem solver. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to meet daily deadlines and work in a fast paced office environment.
