Project Analyst Brief Role Description Primary responsibility is to provide direct support to the Planning and Logistics directorate. Duties will include providing assistance with proposal teams, proposal review teams, and project control teams. Assist in the coordination of current and future project phases to include project status in an Earned Value program environment. Assist in the coordination of administrative and operational support activities. Complete all tasks in accordance within operating procedures and schedule. Responsibilities * Daily tracking and updating program materials and delivering them as needed to Planning and Project Control Team. * Create and edit cost models supporting future proposals and current task orders * Support the Proposal Manager in the development and implementation of proposals * Basis of Estimate (BOE) Development * Create Purchase Requests for material and services to be procured * Independently solve issues, make calculated decisions as needed. * Ensure company and project policies are adhered to. * Handle sensitive and proprietary information discreetly. * Develop original reporting tools in order to effectively communicate information to various parties. * Maintain complete and accurate records on all material, project tasks, activities, and requirements. * Assist in the Engineering and Subcontracts Change Proposal process * Support the Master Scheduler through EVM tracking and file maintenance * Maintain complete and accurate records on project tasks, activities, and requirements * Organize, attend, and contribute to planning, reporting, and information meetings relating to the program * Create and mature program EVM archive files, project management files, and EV program controls * Assist in the continual refinement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to formalize program-wide processes * Report activities, milestones and provide status updates to various stakeholders Requirements Education Required: * A 4-year degree in a related field or 5-7 years related experience. Experience Required: * Business operations such as: budgeting, scheduling, business management, and project management * Knowledge of proposals process * Project operations such as: status reporting, cost tracking, and schedule updates Desired: * Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) * Experience in field deployment or construction support * Tracking of procurement processes such as purchase requests, purchase orders, invoice, open commitments, and accounts payable * Knowledge of proposal process documentation such as material estimates, travel and other direct costs * Performed in the role of project controls (cost, schedule, and quality) Skills / Certifications Required: * Solid skills in Microsoft Office: specifically Microsoft Excel, Word, MS Project and Power Point.
