Administrator, Student Services
The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) seeks an enthusiastic self-starter to provide primary staff support and leadership to two constituent committees of the Educational Activities Committee.
The administrator works closely with volunteer committee members to ensure implementation of student chapter-related programs and initiatives designed to enhance the student member experience.
Specific responsibilities: Serve as primary contact for student chapter leaders; Coordinate planning of new officer and advisor training workshops; Provide guidance to student conference hosts; Assist with production of national student competitions;Administer scholarship program; Coordinate and attend committee meetings; Produce and distribute resource materials; Maintain databases; Coordinate evaluation of annual reports and awards.
Requirements:
Candidates must have undergraduate degree with a minimum of 3-5 years student affairs and/or association experience; Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail; Superior written and oral communication skills; Strong time management skills and critical thinking ability; Excellent computer and database management skills; Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
