| Ensures accurate diagnostic results for patients of any age of graphically recorded impulses generated by the brain providing quality outcomes by performing EEG (electroencephalogram) consistent with department policies. Ensures accurate diagnostic result |

| Requirements: |
One-year experience as an EEG technician/technologist in an inpatient setting or office setting. Six months experience performing Electroencephalogram (EEG) and evoked potential studies; respiratory care or sleep disorder testing background. Special training and resultant expertise in the recognition of ictal and inter-ictal electrographic patterns; expertise in management of clinical seizure and/or other medical emergencies required. CPR for all age groups required. Eligible for/or successful completion of Part II (oral) examination for registration by ABRET (EEG and/or Evoked Potential) or completion of examination by an equivalent examination body. Proficient in English required. Verbal and written communication skills, typing and computer skills required.
