-This high profile position requires a candidate with proven, effective experience and leadership of large-scale (10,000 to 20,000 users) training programs within a complex IT implementation program.
-Manage client relationships, sustain best relationships with the prime contractor and other teaming companies, and periodically monitor satisfaction for this significant transformation and systems development/deployment program.
-Maintain staffing models, implement requisitions, and conduct hiring practices in collaboration with the prime contractor.
-Establish project task lists (work breakdown structure) and schedules, align tasks and schedules to the program’s IMS, and manage to those structures.
-Ensure that all project deliverables and work products are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest levels of quality and in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines.
-Direct and manage staff in the production of instructor-led training, WBT, and EPSS deliverables. Directly manage 4 leads in eLearning, instructional design, implementation, and evaluation.
-Provide day-to-day guidance for a cross-company training teams as well as with peers in the Organizational Change Management division. Act as a SME for all instructional design and training domains.
-Ensure team adherence to processes, policies, and procedures as required by the client and prime contractor and within the bounds of the ITLM process.
-Create and maintain financial documents and budgets, spreadsheets, and reports per approved processes.
-Quickly learn the intricacies of the program’s content domain and the client’s infrastructure and business model in order to ensure excellent project management and solution development; represent Training on various integrated product and project teams.
-Develop training risks, issues, and mitigation tactics and manage risks according to the prime contractor’s plans and polices.
-Create and deliver coherent and insightful presentations and briefings to all levels including to senior executives.
-Conduct continual staff and performance management for assigned direct reports.
-Develop and maintain close client relationships within a matrix organization.
-Seek additional business opportunities within the limits of the contract.
Display exceptional interpersonal, communication (both written and oral) and organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks for themselves and others. Work with minimum of supervision from the program manager. Follow ethical practices in all business relationships.
Bachelor's Degree required in Instructional Systems Design, Education, Training/Curriculum Development or a related field. A Master's Degree preferred. 10 or more years of professional experiences in a learning and training organization. 4 years experience as a project manager with systems development lifecycle experience.
