We are currently seeking a Sr. DSFA Accountant to help our fast paced Accounting department with Balancing the daily work completed by teller transactions; Balancing assigned expense accounts; Reconciling ATM transactions and other duties related to Fedline Advantage; Maintaining fixed asset applications; Updating general ledger; Analyzing and preparing schedules on assigned income/expense accounts; Providing recommendations on cost savings for the above schedules and Preparing financial and statistical reports in house and to NCUA and other duties as assigned.


Required Skills

The successful candidate will possess an Accounting or Finance Degree with two years of accounting related experience or a minimum of two years specific job related experience; excellent written and oral communication skills; Excellent Microsoft Office skills; Ability to work with minimal supervision; Experience in handling confidential circumstances and information with diplomacy and discretion and have the ability to use initiative and resourcefulness for developing procedures to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the position.


Required Experience
  • Accounting/Finance Degree and three years general accounting experience or a minimum of five years specific job related experience. Financial Institution experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of fixed assets and fixed asset application desired.
  • Excellent organization, written and oral communication skills
  • Strong Microsoft Excel & Word skil1s
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Proficient calculator skills
  • Ability to work with an array of other personal computer software
  • Experienced in handling confidential circumstances and information with diplomacy and discretion
  • Ability to use initiative and resourcefulness for developing position procedures
