| Specific Job Description | Will serve as the base mechanical engineer, helping to identify existing problem areas and offering solutions for management and O&M. Provide primary mechanical engineering guidance in identifying the best renovation solutions for the base HVAC systems. Assist in bringing data centers online. Responsible for providing mechanical engineering support for new and renovation construction projects primarily in Fauquier and Culpeper Counties to ensure that all new systems are integrated into the existing mechanical infrastructure. The Engineer will be working with various A&E firms on design and applications of new systems to ensure cost efficiency and reliability are paramount. Prioritize facility and budget assessments to ensure best use of and maximization of available funding. Gathers and reviews data concerning facility or equipment specifications, company or government restrictions, required completion date, and construction feasibility. Provide risk assessment & mitigation, configuration management, and supporting documentation. Experience managing large scope projects with critical deadlines. Experience in planning, designing and overseeing the reconfiguration, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, structures, and other facilities. Must subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. |
