Provides healthcare technology leadership and support to innovator teams whose ideas have been selected for prototype development.

Provides coaching on healthcare IT/software development lifecycle, technology implementation skills, and understanding of certification processes and criteria.

Assists with requirements documentation and estimating. Reviews vendor deliverables for contract compliance. Develops/confirms test plans and reviews results.

Prepares and reviews related educational materials to help communicate and support key issues.

Aligns and obtains support from other VA/VHA organizations. Coordinates access to supporting tools and environments.

Supports tracking of effort's progress, expenditures, risks/issues/actions, lessons learned, and associated reporting.

Years Experience required:

Minimum of 7 years of software development-oriented experience and 3-5 years in healthcare related technologies

Education required:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics or Business Administration.

PMP or CAPM desired
