Position Description
We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse Manager to work in Washington D.C. in the Cath Lab and Pre/Post Cardiac Care and Recovery.
Qualifications
Required:
*Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Medical Imaging (Radiological Technology) or equivalent health related field.
*Current MD State License.
*Minimum of four (4) years experience in an advanced Cardiac Cath Lab.
*Strong customer service skills.
*Able to multi task in a busy environment and meet deadlines.
*Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point).
Preferred:
*Supervisory or management experience
Responsibilities
*Manages all employees with in the Cath Lab and Pre/Post Cardiac Care and Recovery (Transcare) Departments with 24 hour/7 day a week accountability.
*Maintains an efficiently operated modality in all aspects of patient care.
*Communicates all needs and problems to the Executive Director of Cardiac, Vascular and Surgical Service to facilitate resolution.
*Assists the interventional Cardiologist (or any other appropriately credentialed physician) in performing procedures, and is knowledgeable and competent in the operation of all aspects of the performance of these procedures.
*Responsible for overseeing the procurement and maintenance of supplies & inventory.
*Involved in operational and capital budget planning and adheres to budget.
*Supports and manages the staff schedule in the Cath Lab and Pre/Post Cardiac Care and Recovery (Transcare) areas.
