Position Description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Program Analyst needed to participate in and provide programmatic and technical support to a U.S. Navy weapon system program office charged with planning, assessment, management, and decision-making for all stages of weapon system life cycle support including system design and development; requirements planning and analysis; program documentation development; and other aspects of program execution.

JOB REQUIREMENTS (Skills, Experience, Education):

Successful candidate must have a Bachelors degree and 5-10 years experience in Navy submarine operations, or the design, procurement, testing or employment of submarine systems used in the conduct of undersea warfare or special operations.

Program management experience in the following areas is a plus: DoD acquisition life cycle management; cost and schedule performance assessment; risk management; weapon system design, development or post-deployment support; and acquisition documentation development.

An engineering degree and experience in Naval Weapons Systems (missiles, launchers, guidance or fire control in SSBNs/SSGNs) are preferred but not required.

Candidate must be proficient with MS Office and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Successful candidates will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

U.S. citizenship is required.
