Position Description

SENIOR CREDIT REVIEWER – Mid-Atlantic (CCB) Region

Job Background/Context
Credit Review (CR) is an independent assurance organization of approximately 40 professionals covering Capital One’s commercial and retail businesses. CR provides independent assessments of the company’s credit risk environment. Superior credit risk management is integral to the long-term viability of the company given the challenging macroeconomic pressures that all financial institutions are facing. Using the Commercial Credit Review process, Commercial Credit Review (CCR) associates analyze the key credit risks of all Corporate and Commercial banking businesses and their credit support functions, develop risk coverage strategies, and conduct on-going monitoring of these businesses to evaluate the overall effectiveness of the credit control environment. Our issues and observations influence the actions of executive management and inform the Audit and Risk Committee of the Board of Directors.

The CCR team is based in New York, New Jersey, Louisiana, Texas and Maryland, and is responsible for the monitoring and review of the Commercial Banking businesses and their credit support functions.
