Position Description

emotive seeks an experienced Interactive Designer for agency wide support in a full-time, on-site position.

We are a young and fast growing company that is located in Arlington, VA. We are an online political and public affairs marketing agency looking for experienced, cutting edge web design talent.

Only candidates with well developed online portfolios who possess experience and expertise in the areas outlined below will be considered:

Software expertise: (actual demonstrated expertise)
- Design Tools
  - Photoshop
  - Illustrator
  - InDesign (familiarity for light print design work)
- Production Tools
  - Flash
  - Premiere, iMovie
  - Dreamweaver
  - Acrobat
Design experience: (must have strong portfolio)
- Web site design
- Email template design
- Info-graphics
- Feature imagery
- Logo/Branding
- Iconography
- Advertising
- Video Production
Professional experience: (must possess more than one but not all)
- Bachelor of Fine Arts in interactive design/media or similar discipline
- Several years of applied experience in agency setting
- Robust portfolio of work
- Experience designing for emotive client verticals
