Specific Job Description Lockheed Martin Information Knowledge & Solutions, Professional Services is seeking a Chief Architect to support the Department of Labor ESA/DITMS IT Enterprise transformation. The Chief Architect will lead the design and definition of the system architecture for new or existing complex computer systems and other major systems and subsystems. This position directs the coordination of design of subsystems and integration of total system for the MCASS program Operational Engineering Task Order. Responsible for the development of roadmaps and system architectures that are compatible and compliant with our customer’s needs and plans. The Chief Architect interfaces with Federal Senior Management concerning long-range plans, strategic plan, technology roadmap, initiate integration projects, and enterprise transformation. Plans research & development programs and recommends technological application programs to accomplish long-range objectives. This role is very instrumental in attracting and obtaining major new business in current market space. Candidate is a fully qualified producer who applies a comprehensive in-depth knowledge of technical concepts, practices and procedures. The candidate must have a working knowledge, understanding and experience leading the execution of infrastructure optimization. Candidate must be skilled at planning, effective writing, briefing, and coordinating with Government Agencies

Will leverage previous DITMS information technology investments where applicable and align them with the DITMS Enterprise Architecture and services being built in the DITMS Enterprise. Will architect and implement enterprise solutions where DITMS Enterprise Architecture is not mature and / or optimized.
