The minimum skills and qualifications are:

1. experience in technology-based course development.
2. experience with creating web-based, computer-based and other instructional training programs
3. Strong ability to produce training programs using any or all of the following Articulate, Captivate, Lectora, and Flash
4. Demonstrated experience and knowledge of ActionScript and JavaScript (i.e., HTML, XML)

Specific Job Description GENERAL
In order to develop solutions for the NGA and NSG learner audiences, the Curriculum Management Branch requires the support of an experienced e-Learning multimedia developer. The Multimedia Developer is responsible for and assists others in the development of interactive programs such as Web-Based Training (WBT), Computer-Based Training (CBT), Kiosks, websites and is responsible for developing content (programs) in a timely manner within budget.
The media developer will support synchronous and asynchronous training products for distributed learning to meet the defined needs of the College’s learners.


TASK DESCRIPTION

Specific duties may include:

1. Work with subject matter experts and the instructional designer to develop distributed learning products
2. Program and support software development projects for various customers.
3. Work with members of the production and instructional design teams
4. Work with a variety of multimedia technologies including digital audio, video, CD-ROM, DVD and internet/intranet related tools.
5. Develop and program highly interactive computer-based and web-based training courses using the latest development software and methodologies.
6. Develop graphic solutions for training courses
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Security Clearance Top Secret/Special Security Requirements
Typical Minimums Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level.
