Posting Description |
|
To support the Information Services Department and the organization by guiding the evolution, development, and governance of the Navy Federal Enterprise Architecture with a specific focus on the application architecture
Required:
* Bachelors Degree in a related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
* Extensive technical experience in the evaluation, support, deployment, and design of enterprise wide applications
* Experience in assessing, authoring, and evolving technical architectures, including documenting the architecture according to best practices in EA (use of a major framework and/or toolset)
* Demonstrated ability to move comfortably between detailed technical discussions and business-oriented executive discussions to understand and convey complex technical issues in an effective way
* Demonstrated experience in business process mapping and re-engineering
* Demonstrated experience with application development methodologies including Scrum and SDLC
* Demonstrated expertise in various technologies, including application development languages and packages, client/server and Web (e.g., Java, JavaScript, HTML, SSL, C/C++, Perl, CGI), Web servers, browsers, and various third-party utilities and tools for integrating applications with databases and legacy systems
* Demonstrated experience with n-tier and mainframe applications
* Demonstrated experience defining and designing SOA solutions
* Knowledge of Zachman or TOGAF Architecture Frameworks
* Demonstrated experience doing business cases and cost analysis
* Strong ability to work effectively with different levels of staff, management, and stakeholders
* Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
* Demonstrated results-oriented leadership and facilitation skills
* Superior relationship building skills
Desired: * Knowledge of Navy Federals mission, objectives, and functions
* Previous experience in the banking industry
* Demonstrated thought leadership through applicable associations, authored whitepapers, or leading seminars |
