Required Skills

We are currently seeking a professional, career oriented individual with excellent communication and organizational skills to join our team as the Manager of our Collections/Member Solutions Department. The ideal candidate will be self motivated and detail oriented with the ability to mulit task. This candidate will be responsible for delinquency control, mitigating losses, statistical reporting and achieving aggressive goals. This person will also work with the attorneys, collection agencies, and counseling agencies and will be responsible for all management functions including performance appraisals, training, and task assignments while mentoring and empowering staff. This position requires a minimum five years collection management experience, a working knowledge of bankruptcy, legal, credit reporting, repossession laws, foreclosure, etc

.


Required Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years Collection Management Experience
  • Minimum of 7+ years of recovery, legal and bankruptcy experience.
  • College degree desired
  • Knowledge of collection laws, regulations and best practices.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge and proven track record managing foreclosures, bankrupt, legal accounts, post charge off/late stage delinquent and other more complex collection items.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and interpretive skills.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks accurately and meet strict deadlines.
  • Ability to negotiate, achieve collection and referral goals.
  • Demonstrated expertise using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent Skip Tracing skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including working overtime hours with little advanced notice and weekend hours.
