| Position Summary: |
| Provides advanced surgical technical skills for patients undergoing operative procedures. Demonstrates advanced knowledge of aseptic and surgical technique and serves as a resource in at least two speciality areas/procedures. Identifies variances from expected outcomes and responds to changes in patient needs. Possesses knowledge and skills necessary to provide quality care to patients in varying categories to include pediatrics, adolescents, geriatric and critically ill. |

| Requirements: |
2-5 years of recent surgical tech experience in a hospital/ambulatory setting. CPR required. Surgical Tech Certification preferred.

| Education Requirements: |
| High School Graduate. On-the-job training with related healthcare experience or completion of a Surgical Technologist Program and/or Licensed Practical Nurse Program. |
