We are looking for a Database Developer / Designer II with a SECRET level security clearance or the ability to obtain one. ManTech SRS Technologies is seeking a candidate who can identify, develop, and maintain unit and simulation parameter data bases. You will maintain or modify support software as required and modify database to support experimentation events. Participates in database testing and validates modified data bases after test. You will establish and maintain close liaison with all experimentation event support activities. You will also: * Verify and validate the integrity of the data in the databases. * Develop and maintain required documentation on all databases and software as required by pertinent regulations. * Identify, design, develop, test, implement and documents unique utility tools that assist in the development of modification of simulation system database. * Adhere to JE configuration management plan for the development, testing and implementation of all database modifications. * Supervise the activities of database administration. * Control the preparation of all software that will be used to perform database updates. * Implement access controls and other security provisions to ensure the integrity of the database. Requirements 1. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Management Information Systems (MIS), or related field. 2. Must meet one of the following: -Five years experience in the design, development, and operation of data base management systems; -Five years experience in data processing to include systems, application programming, or network management experience; -Demonstrated experience in the use of at least two of the following computer languages when applied to large-scale simulations: C, C++, FORTRAN, PASCAL, SIMSCRIPT II.5, or UNIX/LINUX; -Three years experience with Service and Joint organizational structures, operations, and their maneuver and logistic systems capabilities. 3. *SECRET* level security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
