Position Description
Person needs to be a graduate of an accredited engineering school with 5-10 years work experience. The candidate will require knowledge in plumbing, mechanical and electrical engineering. Should have a working knowledge in the coordination of mechanical, electircal and plumbing componenets within construction. Professional Engineer certification is desirable; otherwise registration is attainable within the next 1-2 years.
Other responsibilities for this position(s) may include the following:
• Work with clients and senior staff to assist in the successful completion of in-house design and/or field construction management/inspection projects.
• Assist the PROJECT MANAGER and/or the DIRECTOR OF ENGINEERING OPERATIONS in tasks that include: 1) Preparation of contract drawings 2) Preparation for contract specifications 3) Calculations 4) Cost Estimates 5) Preparation of Reports 6) any other documents required by the contract.
• Other responsibilities include assisting the McKissack & McKissack Senior Managers and/or the business development staff in providing input for the preparation of proposal efforts for new projects
