We are seeking candidates with related experience to fill a need for an Sr. Associate position in our Falls Church, VA office. The chosen candidate will assist with consulting projects by performing research and market analysis for Lewin's consulting work with the federal and state governments, health plans, associations and foundations, hospitals and health systems. Key responsibilities for the Sr. Associate position include, but are not limited to:
  • Collecting, analyzing, and summarizing qualitative and quantitative data and findings into concise, readily usable reports
  • Assisting with the design and implementation of evaluation and assessment projects (e.g., survey development, conducting stakeholder interviews, focus groups or site visits)
  • Assisting with projects requiring quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis
  • Conducting comprehensive literature reviews using PubMed/Medline and other electronic databases and analyzing findings to evaluate the evidence regarding various health policy topics and health technology
  • Assisting with conference and expert panel meeting planning and coordination
  • Preparing and participating in team and client project meetings
  • Sr.Associates are expected to assume significant levels of responsibility on a diverse range of projects.
  • Sr. Associates may work with several managers simultaneously, and in doing so, must manage their time effectively

Qualifications
Chosen candidates will possess:
  • A graduate degree in Public Policy, Public Health, Public Administration, Business, Economics or related field
  • 2-3 years of progressively responsible work experience in health care and/or health policy research/analysis
  • Experience with public programs (e.g., Medicare, Medicaid) is desirable
  • Experience organizing and supervising the work of others in the conduct of research or policy analysis is a plus.
  • Professional experience writing
  • Project/task management experience
Highly valued assets include:
  • Experience with statistical software
  • Attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required
