Position Description

This position provides critical business and financial guidance to the Organization by managing forecasting, financial reporting, budgeting and business related financial analysis. This position also manages the accounting, compliance and traditional reporting related to the Organization.

Requirments
Minimum five-ten years of progressive and relevant experience in 501(c)(3) and/or 501(c)(6) organizations; solid financial planning and analysis experience. Proven project management capabilities. Strong interpersonal skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Customer service orientation. Detail oriented. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and FRx Reporter required.
Bachelor of Science, Accounting, Finance, Statistics or relevant work experience
Credentials: CPA designation required.

Duties
•Act as Finance Business Partner to senior management team in analyzing financial performance and opportunities.
•Develop analytical, reporting and forecasting models that capture current and future business assumptions.
•Develop financial understanding across all management levels
•Manage all aspects of the Finance and Accounting function of the Organization
•Develop and train Finance and Accounting team to ensure highest quality of customer service, non-profit accounting processes and productivity.
•Apply financial knowledge and capabilities to tracking and preparing and hoc financial reports, revenue analysis, cost analysis, operational analysis etc. Research and present critical factors driving revenue and costs. Provide assistance with forecasting and variance reports.
•Take lead in outside audit firm relationship as it pertains to audit requirements. This includes preparation of all PBCs for 501(c)(6) and 501(c)(3) audits and audits of our benefits plans (pension and 401k). It is expected that all audits will be conducted with the utmost efficiency, minimal adjusting journal entries and discrepancies.
•Take lead in preparation of annual budget by partnering with senior management team.
•Maintains current knowledge regarding GAAP, FASB, IRS regulations and requirements.
