Position Description
The Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center is Washington’s premier special events and conference facility, located on historic Pennsylvania Avenue in the heart of Washington, DC, within walking distance of the White House, the Capitol, and Smithsonian Museums.
We are currently seeking a Health Club Manager for MetroFit, our on site, state-of-the-art health club. Responsibilities will include manage health club, direct supervision of health club staff members, maintain membership programs, registration, assisting members with fitness needs and administrative tasks.
Required Qualifications:
•Bachelor of Science degree preferably in Exercise Science or related field
•Nationally accredited personal trainer or group fitness certification (NAFAA, ACE, ACSM, NSCA, NASM are all acceptable certifications).
•Current CPR Certification through American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
•Minimum 3 years experience with at least one year of management experience in a fitness center environment.
•Knowledge of health club safety requirements, standards, legal requirements.
•Computer literacy in Word and Excel is a must.
•Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting.
•Ability to learn purchasing procedures.
We are metro accessible at the Federal Triangle metro stop on the Orange or Blue lines.
