The Washington, D.C. office of a prominent law firm (one of the world’s leading and largest intellectual property law firms), is seeking a Senior Accountant/Analyst to join their dynamic Financial Services Department. Responsibilities will include: managing and maintaining the firm’s general ledger accounts, reviewing bank reconciliations, assisting with the month end closing process, providing budget analysis, preparing internal financial reposts as well as coordinating the annual audit and tax return preparation process. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in public accounting or in the private sector. An audit background, exposure to partnership taxation issues, advanced Excel skills, database and/or report writing software experience, and a familiarity with Elite is preferred. Experience with FRx, Crystal Reports and Business Intelligence is also a plus. Candidates must also have supervisory experience.
