The 100 Black Men of Greater Washington, DC is devoted to improving the quality of life for African-Americans--particularly young males--in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area through programs focusing on health and wellness, economic empowerment, education and mentoring.

The Afghan-American Chamber of Commerce (AACC) is the leading organization facilitating U.S.-Afghan business, investment, and trade ties through its Matchmaking Conferences and related activities. AACC serves the interests of its members through various programs, advocates for a free and open market economy in Afghanistan, and endeavors to strengthen U.S.-Afghan economic relations.

The mission of the AACC is to unite, grow, and empower African American businesses in Montgomery County, Maryland.

AIHEC is the collective spirit and unifying voice of our nation’s Tribal Colleges and Universities (TCUs). AIHEC provides leadership and influences public policy on American Indian higher education issues through advocacy, research, and program initiatives; promotes and strengthens Indigenous languages, cultures, communities, and tribal nations; and through its unique position, serves member institutions and emerging TCUs.

The Purpose of the regional council is to implement the goals, policies and objectives of Blacks In Government as set forth in the National Constitution.

CASA's primary mission is to work with the community to improve the quality of life and fight for equal treatment and full access to resources and opportunities for low-income Latinos and their families. CASA also works with other low-income immigrant communities and organizations, makes its programs and activities available to them, and advocates for social, political, and economic justice for all low-income communities.

Spanish Catholic Center provides medical, dental, immigration, legal, education and social services to over 40,000 clients, primarily new Latino immigrants in Mt. Pleasant, Gaithersburg, and Langley Park. The Archdiocese of Washington founded the Spanish Catholic Center in 1967. Over the years, the Center has served immigrants from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe and all points in between. Dedicated staff accomplish their mission along with hundreds of professional volunteers who provide caring services on a regular basis.

The mission of the Arlington Diocese Refugee Services is to help our clients become self-sufficient as soon as possible. It is our obligation to welcome all newcomers to our land regardless of race, creed, or national origin and to lift them out of oppression and empower them with the tools necessary to succeed in their new land.

CARECEN's mission is to promote the comprehensive development of the Latino/ Central American community in the Washington Metropolitan Area by responding to its changing needs as it deepens its roots in the United States. CARECEN achieves its mission by providing the information, access, direct services, life-skills and civic education necessary for Latinos to attain a safe and stable environment for their families.

“CentroNía” is derived from Spanish, Swahili and Esperanto, a universal language created in the late 19th century to help bridge cultures. Centro means “center” in Spanish. Nía means “our” in Esperanto and “purpose” in Swahili. It is further complemented with a bilingual tagline “growing, learning, leading” “crecimiento, aprendizaje, liderazgo,” which speaks to CentroNía’s commitment to provide a continuum of educational programs to families and their children as they grow within CentroNía and to lead in the field of bilingual and multicultural education.

CBM’s vision was to fill the void of positive black male role models in many communities by providing mentors and programs that affirmed the care and discipline that all youth need, while providing opportunities for academic and career enrichment. While the vision of CBM’s founding members has expanded to include children and their parents nationwide, the philosophy of men offering themselves as positive role models to children has remained CBM’s mission for more than 30 years.

The Greater Baltimore Urban League, Inc. (GBUL) is one of the local affiliates of the National Urban League - a nonprofit, nonpartisan, multi-ethnic, social service organization. Through direct service delivery, advocacy, referrals, community capacity building, information dissemination and technical assistance, the League accomplishes its mission to improve social and economic conditions and opportunities for African-Americans and other people who face barriers to full participation in American society.

The mission of the Haliwa-Saponi Indian Tribe is to protect the interests, identity and rights of the Haliwa-Saponi Indian people, promote the cultural and traditional heritage of the Haliwa-Saponi people of Halifax, Warren, and surrounding counties, to promote the advancement of the Haliwa-Saponi Indian people by securing educational, health, economic development, housing, cultural, and social programs, to promote good will, peace, and harmony within the Tribal community and other Indian Tribes, and to serve as a forum through which concerns of the Haliwa-Saponi Indian people may be addressed

The mission of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Montgomery County is to promote the development and economic growth of the Hispanic business community in Montgomery County, Maryland.
