Neurology Headache Nurse Practitioner - McLean, VA

We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner to join our Neurology team at our McLean location in Northern Virginia. This is a unique opportunity to be trained by our nationally recognized headache group to specialize as a Headache NP. For six months, the candidate will be taught all aspects of headache management, including use of Botox and local blocks for management of headache. After six months, the provider will build their own practice and function as an independent clinician and as an integral member of the Headache section of the Department of Neurology. The Headache section consists of 6 Neurologists and 1 Nurse Practitioner (who is an established independent provider in Chevy Chase). The department of Neurology at MedStar consists of 87 Neurologists and 15 Neurology NP's.


Job Requirements:

• Completion and graduation from an accredited NP program.
• CPR certification required.
• Neurology experience preferred.
