HR Manager, Workday Operations & Testing

As a Workday Testing Team Manager on the Workday Operations & Testing team, you will be part of a talented team responsible for partnering with the recruitment organization, Product, Configuration and our downstream HR partners to continuously improve our recruiter and candidate experience. The qualified candidate will be responsible for managing a team performing Workday system testing and troubleshooting.

In this role you will manage a team of three direct reports that are dedicated to troubleshooting, system testing, testing automation and education.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage team capacity and expectations for a multi-level/layered, geographically-dispersed (e.g., Richmond, McLean, Wilmington) team

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the end-to-end processes within the Joining Capital One Experience, inclusive of upstream and downstream dependencies

  • Utilize our Workday test environments to oversee and/or perform User Acceptance Testing and troubleshoot Workday Recruiting system issues. Scope includes UAT across 6 countries.

  • Cohesively partner with leaders across the enterprise to provide solution-oriented, Workday consultation on various HR initiatives

  • Create and maintain job aids to assist team members with system steps and procedural guidance

  • Influence senior leadership for buy-in of remediation recommendations

  • has prior experience implementing structure and governance where it previously did not exist, and

  • has outstanding communication skills with prior experience influencing leaders.

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of process or project management experience

  • At least 2 years of people leadership experience

  • At least 2 years of experience in a Human Resource role

  • At least 1 year of experience in MS Office or Google Suite (Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Docs)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree, or military experience

  • 1+ year of Workday Recruiting experience

  • 1+ year of Recruiting experience

  • 1+ year of training or 1+ year of communications experience

  • Professional Human Resources Certification
