The Joint, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Interagency Division (JOID) provides expert support services to a range of customers spanning across the Department of Defense, Federal Civilian, and international markets. JOID provides a diverse portfolio of analytical and programmatic capabilities to help our customers make informed decisions on their most challenging issues.

The Industry and Security Analysis Group (ISAG) provides analytical and consulting to promote, grow, and protect the U.S. industrial base by delivering critical decision support to national security leaders. Our team informs policy decisions, enables execution of comprehensive strategies, and monitors and reports on the effectiveness of policy implementation to support the U.S. Government's priorities of ensuring a resilient industrial base for strengthening national security.

SPA has a near-term need for a Military Department (MILDEP) and DoD Liaison Management Analyst - CHIPS Coordination Cell for full-time, onsite support at the Pentagon or the Mark Center in Alexandria, VA; may require occasional to bi-monthly travel.

Responsibilities

The DoD Liaison Management Analyst will support the CHIPS coordination cell (C3) in a high op tempo environment and as an action officer to help develop the foundation for the next generation of microelectronics technology. The candidate will manage and facilitate communication with senior DoD Leaders, Service, and Interagency stakeholders, support and develop relationships and data analysis efforts in the execution of mission responsibilities, assist with resource and workflow planning, and lead the development and execution of key working groups. Will support meetings with the sponsor agencies and project stakeholders, and support working groups and data calls, project-related events, and conferences. Develop communication materials and lead cross-functional teams. Design, develop, and execute analytic products; develop charts, graphs, written and technical reports to support government policy decisions. Support research on emerging technologies, industries, and supply chains. Develop materials for briefing partners and outreach with stakeholders. Prepare and process correspondence, technical reports, presentations, briefings, and other related documentation. Attend project-related events and conferences.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

    5+ years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Knowledge and experience supporting national security issues
  • DoD or USG agency major staff (OSD, Joint Staff, Senior Service Staff) experience.
  • Excellent communications skills (written and verbal)
  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree
  • Experience with national defense industrial base (DIB) and policy issues
  • Understanding of Supply Chain Risk Management
