This position will be located at the Wagner Logistics warehouse located at 271 Lofton Rd in Raphine, VA. The schedule shift is Monday- Thursday 3:00pm -1:00am

JOB SUMMARY:
The Warehouse Associate III is responsible for the accurate storing, shipping and receiving of product to meet company standards of safety, security and productivity. Possible use of one of more of the following PIT equipment: Floor Scrubber/Sweeper, Double Fork Forklift, Carton Clamp Truck, Sit Down Forklift, Roll Clamp Tuck, Electric Pallet Jack, Slip Sheet.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Loading and unloading paper roll stock and corrugated boxes from railcars and trailers efficiently, accurately and in a safe manner
  • Stacking product in proper storage areas using the required equipment
  • Rotating product according to the customer's requirements
  • Ensuring the integrity of the inventory of customers and assisting/leading physical inventories
  • Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing or repacking projects as needed
  • Accurately pick and assemble orders for shipment
  • Safely operate material handling equipment
  • Identify damaged, lost or missing product and notify warehouse leadership immediately
  • Complete daily forklift inspections for all material handling equipment
  • Responsible for placing unsafe or out of service material handling equipment in proper location and notifying Warehouse Leadership to request necessary repairs immediately
  • Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area
  • Assist in maintaining the security and safety of the warehouse by conducting daily operations in accordance with safe working practices in compliance with state, local and federal regulations, and laws governing business operations
  • Interact with warehouse management, warehouse personnel, customers, vendors and the other employees/guests in a professional manner
  • Complete required records, reports and daily paperwork
  • Including other duties assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Education - High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience - minimum of 2 years of experience using powered industrial trucks or similar equipment
  • Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand basic English
  • Basic math, counting and computer abilities
  • Strong communication skills
  • Demonstrate initiative, self-starter, reliable, follow thru and teamwork skills
  • Be able to use of RF scan guns, tablets and warehouse management system technology aptitude required. Experience with similar devices and processes preferred
  • Certifications: - Forklift Certification
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Ability to stand, sit, squat, crawl, bend, twist, climb up and down, and/or kneel for up to 12-hour periods of time and repetitively
  • Capability to navigate through narrow, confined spaces
  • Work near or on top of sloping, uneven and/or slippery surfaces
  • Exposure to varying temperatures: heat, cold, wet, damp, drafty
  • Possible exposure to areas with high noise levels that may require hearing protection
  • Use hands and fingers to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights
  • Utilize muscles to lift, push, pull or carry heavy objects up to 50 pounds
